Outdoor Boudoir Sessions
When most people think “Boudoir Photography” they envision a beautifully appointed bedroom setting in which their sensual moments unfold in front of a camera. But the true essence of Boudoir Photography can happen anywhere that the intimacy of the human form can be captured. So, let’s take it outside for an Outdoor Boudoir Photoshoot. Afterall, is there anything more perfect than having Mother Nature as a backdrop for you as you explore your natural beauty?
I have always had a deep love and connection with nature, so it’s only natural that Outdoor Boudoir Photoshoots are probably my favorite type of session ever. Whether you fancy the top of a mountain, the crashing waves at the beach or majesty of a waterfall- an outdoor boudoir session is a liberating experience like none other! If you’ve got an outdoor boudoir photo idea, I’d Love to hear it!
Do You Travel For Outdoor Sessions?
Absolutely! I will go up to 2.5 hours from my Syracuse Boudoir Studio for no additional fee! So if you have the perfect place in mind for your Outdoor Boudoir Photoshoot, I am happy to meet you. I am also ready and willing to go anywhere that speaks to your heart. I am an experienced traveler and will pack my gear and go on an adventure with you- and I don’t stop at domestic travel either! For any sessions farther than 2.5 hours, I will work with you to create a customized pricing plan that covers transportation and accomodation.
When can I Do An Outdoor Boudoir Photoshoot?
Outdoor Boudoir Photoshoots are planned around when the light is at its best, so typically in the morning or late afternoon. My favorite times to do any outdoor photoshoot is at sunrise and sunset! I shoot all throughout the year. Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, there’s no stopping me! Outdoor winter shoots tend to be a bit shorter because, well, it’s ridiculously cold. Given the unpredictable nature of nature, there is a slight possibility that a session may have to be rescheduled due to severe weather such as lightning storms or blizzards.
Getting Out Of Your Comfort Zone, Comfortably.
Your safety and comfort are my top priority and shooting intimate portraits outdoors might be more intimidating to some people. For that reason, we will discuss your comfort levels and never push your boundaries. Some people prefer to stay a bit more covered up while others are comfortable bearing it all, but regardless, I always come prepared with a robe, towel or sheet handy to cover up quickly in the case of a passerby.
